54It was the day of Preparation, and the sabbath was beginning.* The women who had come with him from Galilee followed, and they saw the tomb and how his body was laid. Then they returned, and prepared spices and ointments.
One cancerous lump,
two surgeries,
five stays in the hospital.
15 weeks of chemotherapy treatments,
one wig,
23 hats,
six months to grow her hair back,
and one life.
A daughter, sister, wife and mother.
An aunt, a grandmother and friend.
